Lilygun wish you all a Happy New Year!
Even though this year has been bloody awesome for us, we can't wait
to get the new year started. The first single from our debut album
will be out next month, followed by the album and our first video
soon after that. New merchandise and of course we're gonna rock
our little asses off in a town near you... Thanks to you all for
your support. There's many people believing in us and trying to
help us right now and we solemnly vow to rock even harder next year.

Wow Gotham Festival! What a way to end a great
year for Lilygun. Big LOVE to everyone who came out to support us
and well done for holding on to your tickets for so bloody long!
We hope you all had a wicked time. Still lots of album stuff we

his time uploading and posting this new live video of 'Moonlight'
from the last Purple show. Lilygun have been extremely busy preparing
the new album for release next year and for the last gig of this
year which will also be the last ever Gotham Festival on 3rd Dec.

Awesome gig again last night in Croydon, what
a great audience and a lovely venue too. My new Dovetail strings
were covered in blood by the end of our set! Rockkkkkkkk... The
next Lilygun show will be Gotham Festival in December, next month
we'll be getting artwork for the new album done and all that jazz
but in the meantime we'll be adding tracks from the album online
for you guys to listen to plus a few more web updates.

XII POSTPONED
Due to unforeseen circumstances, it has become necessary to postpone
GOTHAM XII
from Sunday 29th May to Sunday 4th December 2011. Gotham tickets brought from Lilygun
will still be vaild for the new date so hold onto them.
However Lilygun
will still be performing this Bank Holiday Sunday 29th May
Four of the bands that were scheduled to play at the main Gotham
event will now play at
Electrowerkz from 7pm-11pm with Djs from 11pm until late.

Wonderful recording session with Bob Loveday
yesterday. It was amazing to work with him on 'Moonlight' and 'My
Ways'. When I wrote 'My Ways' it originally featured a string part
that I programmed using MIDI but working with Bob yesterday was
a whole new ball game for me and the results are truly beautiful.
So excited for you guys to hear it all. ~ACx

Dearest Rocksters,
I spent my whole sunny Easter weekend in a dark, hot vocal booth
singing my little black heart out and laying down vocals for our
album. The biggest drama so far is... there isn't one! Everything
has been coming together beautifully and I've loved every minute
of engineering as well as recording. Rehearsals have begun for Gotham
Festival. Yes, for once Lilygun IS going to be prepared!!! Haha...

We're set to play this year's Gotham Festival
at 02 Academy Islington May 29th. The festival is a dark treat of
alternative music beginning at 3pm to 11pm followed by an afterparty
at Synthetic Culture at EGG in Kings Cross where fans can get to
meet all the bands and party till the sun comes up and scares us
all away! Tickets are now on sale from all the usual outlets but
we have discount tickets that can be purchased here with free postage.
We played Gotham's 10th Anniversary in 09 and it was wicked so we're
really excited to be back there again this year :) Here's links

Some of you have been concerned about Piranha's
safety in view of the Earthquake and Tsunami disaster in Japan.
I'm relieved to say that I have managed to contact him. He and his
family are safe. Thanks for your concern. Our hearts and prayers
go out to those who have lost loved ones and those who have suffered

Greetings all...
Lilygun's album kicked off this week with some serious drum stick
magic by Belle. We began with 'My Ways' and ended with 'Diamonds'.
To say I'm inspired is an understatement and I can't wait to start
recording Bass which will be happening over this weekend and next

the face of the music industry is rapidly changing, Playlist Research
